마이크로 오링 Type M 듀로미터는 일반 듀로미터로 측정하기에는 너무 얇거나 불규칙적 형태를 갖고 있는 연질 엘라스토머에 대한 정확하고 재현성 있는 경도값을 측정하는데 사용됩니다. Type M 듀로미터는 단면의 두께가 1.25 - 7 mm thick (0.05 - 0.275 in)인 경우에 적합합니다.
